Here in the heart of La Chapelle Montbrandeix, we invite you to step into our garden, slow down, and enjoy the view. What started in 2024 as a simple tapas and charcuterie bar in a beautiful spot has blossomed into a full-service, relaxed bistro—all thanks to the lovely atmosphere that people simply love to linger in. Whether you are visiting in the summer or joining us for our first-ever winter season, we promise warmth and comfort. We have recently completed a full refurbishment, creating a large, covered space that is fully enclosed and heated by a cozy fireplace for the colder months, complete with cooling fans for summer shade. We’ve created a place where good food and good company meet the most restful setting in the region.

It’s not your average menu de jour restaurant. There is good choice on the menu and always cater for dietary needs. The setting is just beautiful. "We really enjoyed our family evening meal at La Jolie Guinguette. We had the delicious french onion soup to start, pan fried cod for 3 of us and pulled pork burger for one, creme brulee and coffee to finish. Could not fault it. Nice atmosphere albeit it was getting cooler in the evening the night we went. Blanket available if your cold. Great service with a smile. Will definitely be back before they close for the winter. Recommend a visit you won't be disappointed."

"Came here Saturday evening and it was a great discovery! The location is great, the owners more than friendly. I had the red wine sauteed chorizo and it was delicious. Then the chicken, bacon and chorizo salad with ranch dressing. One of the best salads I have ever had. And on top of that the wine is great and the prices more than fair!"
